New routes, an advanced app and our exciting plans for transforming your travel experience

Want to earn double Tier Points on your next holiday?
Earn double Tier Points on flights taken as part of a package holiday booked with British Airways Holidays for travel before 30 June 2025. You simply need to book your package (that’s flights + hotel, or flights + car hire – or all three) for stays of at least five nights before 30 June 2025. Bonus Tier Points will be awarded separately to standard Tier Points, and within 14 days of your return flight. It’s also possible to earn the double Tier Points retrospectively if you’ve already booked a qualifying holiday and are travelling within the extended period of the offer.

Welcome back: two Asian capitals rejoin our route network
It’s looking like a great year for fans of the East, as we get ready to return to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur this autumn.

From 28 October, flights from Gatwick to the Thai capital will run three times weekly on the Boeing 777-200ER. The relaunched route will put you right in the heart of the action – from taste-bud tingling night markets to pockets of peace amid the city’s many temples and sacred palaces. Plus, it’s a spectacular springboard to Thailand’s medley of tropical, Castaway-worthy islands.

Plus, from 10 November, we will operate daily flights between London Heathrow and the Malaysian capital on a Boeing 787-9. Bangkok’s more sedate cousin, Kuala Lumpur is an intriguing, hyper-modern and yet deeply historic city, which provides an excellent jumping off point to explore the tea culture of the Cameron Highlands.

Finally, don’t forget that we’re also returning to Abu Dhabi on 20 April 2024 following a four-year hiatus...

Everywhere we go, makes us everything we are
We’ve unveiled our latest TV advert as part of our ongoing ‘British Original’ campaign  a celebration of our people, customers and the nation. Directed by Emmy award winner (and Grammy nominee) Miles Jay, the ad celebrates the big and small journeys in life that help shape a person’s future. It stars our very own flight and cabin crew colleagues, plus music by renowned singer-songwriter Saint Saviour. “This film shows the beauty of flying,” says Jay, who calls it a “coming-of-age story told through the dreams of a sleeping newborn on its first flight”. Watch the full advert below.
