The winning alliance means that even if you haven’t been flying so much (or at all) recently, you can keep building up Avios and working towards your next flight, hotel or upgrade, all via your weekly shop. That’s right – Nectar points can now be converted to Avios. 

With 350 brands across the UK falling under the Nectar umbrella, it’s never been easier to start banking your rewards – and then converting them to Avios. Link your Executive Club and Nectar accounts and for every 400 Nectar points you’ll receive a tidy 250 Avios. We all know how quickly those everyday spends can add up, meaning you’ll be turning your pasta purchases into a weekend in Italy before you know it.

Just Eat
You may already have become firm friends with Just Eat during the pandemic – it works with more than 20,000 restaurants and takeaways across the UK, arranging delivery within 45-60 minutes from the moment you order. Now here’s something even sweeter than dessert – you can collect one Nectar point for every £1 spent. So that lockdown meal can end up contributing to a blow-out hotel stay once you’re ready to travel again.

Argos
Shop in store or online at Argos and you’ll collect one Nectar point per £1 you spend. Get in the holiday mood by buying new luggage – with any luck, your next trip through the airport will be smoother than a toddler scooting along on a Trunki (£35). Or keep practising those culinary skills you discovered in lockdown with some new cookware and kitchen equipment.

Sainsbury’s
For every £1 you spend at Sainsbury’s, you’ll collect one Nectar point. And there’s lots more to buy apart from groceries – you’ll also collect points when you get the kids’ new school uniforms from its Tu clothing range, or even when you fill up on fuel on your way home.
