The perfect pre-flight spirit: Grey Goose Essences

From the mind of Grey Goose creator François Thibault comes Grey Goose Essences. A new line of three distinct and vibrant flavours, made with all-natural ingredients, infused with freshly picked fruits and botanical essences, that will be hitting London Heathrow Terminal 5 next month

Airports mark the first step on your journey to somewhere new – a place where excitement can be found in the air, no matter the time of day. So, what better place to raise a glass to the return of travel?

Luckily, throughout April, Grey Goose Essences is bringing its latest low ABV, refreshingly light botanical sensation to Heathrow Terminal 5, so you can fall back in love with travel and discover your new favourite drink, all at once. We’re talking sampling stations, vapourisers providing a multisensory experience, a state-of-the-art augmented reality experience and a gift wrapping station so you can go and make someone’s day. Of course, you’ll also find them in Duty Free.

And while you may be flying in search of sun, Grey Goose Essences make for the perfect summertime drink right here in the UK. As the evenings start to get light, they’re the perfect garden party companion or brunch beverage to enjoy with friends. Better yet, 82 calories per 50ml serving and no artificial ingredients, you can bring home a supremely sippable botanical taste sensation from Grey Goose.

But which of the easy-to-serve new flavours is the one for you?

Strawberry & Lemongrass

Each of the three expressions tick the refreshing, fruity and botanical boxes, but Strawberry & Lemongrass is a real breath of fresh air. The zingy lemongrass, sourced from Sri Lanka, lifts the sweet strawberries for an exotic finish.
Get mixing: Combine 150ml of soda with 50ml of Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass, then garnish with lemon peel and fresh, sliced strawberries.

White Peach & Rosemary

Rosemary is the cocktail garnish of the moment, so it’s fitting that the versatile herb has made it into one of Grey Goose’s three mixes for that subtle, savoury hit. It balances out the sweetness of white peach perfectly.
Get mixing: Stir 50ml of the Essences in with 150ml of sonic (soda and tonic mix) and dress with an orange twist.

Watermelon & Basil

What could be nicer on a sunny afternoon than a cool drop of watermelon? That’s what’s on offer with this combo, which pairs the juicy summer flavour with a delicious herb – picked at the peak of its ripeness.
Get mixing: For a fresher spin on your regular G&T, combine 35ml of Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil with 120ml of your favourite tonic water. Add lime, fresh basil and some slices of watermelon to serve.
